Katrina's college days led her through the
legalese of the law library where she eventually
sneaked off to live in the tombs of mystery,
suspense and paranormal.
Today, Katrina loves living on the edge
of dreams, fantasy and mystical illusion to
create stories that will take you away from
reality.
Don't be surprised if she throws in some Texas BS
to keep things interesting and surprise you.
Occasionally, nonfiction stories come along
that beg to be written - like, God Bless the Moon,
a 2006 winner In Frontiers in Writing. This is a
whimsical true story about family ties and
traditions passed from one generation to the
next.

My wonderful critique group!
I dedicate, A Turn of Fortune
to this group of ladies
that guided me through the
challenges of becoming a writer.
Natalie thanks for the finger pointing
and yelling "POV". Susse, thanks
for chuckles you always bring to
the group and designing my web page.
Marian your insight and editors knowledge
has helped us all be better writers.
Margot, I wish my English teacher had the
wonderful sense of humor you do. You & Susse
keeps our commas, semicolons and english usage
in the right place on the page! I love you all
and owe this success to you--I couldn't have
done it without you!
